Inception
Our Parent Company: VOHRA AGENCIES, was established in 1976 as a Ship Chandler by our Chairman Emeritus, Mr Shafiq Vohra, and as a part of his vision, we expanded into Shipping Agency & Freight Forwarding activities in 1986 as SAI FREIGHT. Our Managing Director, Parvez Vohra, heads our Maritime / Agency / Chartering divisions. His Son, Faiz Vohra, leads our Turnkey Logistics arm under SAI AEROCEAN. So all in all, 3 Generations of the Vohra Family forms a strong foundation of a Group which is constantly evolving and innovating. Our Mumbai Head Office controls our All India Operations providing an effective centralized point of contact for our Reputed Principals and Clients. Our presence spans from Coast to Coast covering the Ports of Kandla / Mundra / Mumbai / Mangalore / Cochin / Kakinada / Paradip / Vishakapatnam / Chennai / Kolkata and Haldia.

We have had the honor of Representing Holscher Shipping Rotterdam [Who were the Pioneers of Heavy Lift Ships during the 80’s well known for their 800 Tons Lifting Capacity Wonder Ship named m/v Gloria Virentium).

The Highlight of our Existence has been a Joint Venture Shipping Company Nord Scan Line India that was founded in a Partnership with the Nordana Group Denmark (A Part of the Danneborg Group Established in 1883 & Scanchart Denmark Est. 1982 )
Here is a Video of our < Semi Submersible > Float On / Float Off Operations for a whereby 3 Catamarans had to be shipped from Abu Dhabi to Alexandria, Egypt on the basis of consecutive voyages on Semi Sub Vessel M/v Eide Trader
